The latest performance test shows that Waterfall Network has become the most scalable smart contract

On November 7, 2024, Waterfall Network, the most innovative Layer 1 decentralized and scalable ledger, announced that its mainnet has achieved a milestone of 12778 transactions per second (TPS), marking a significant breakthrough.

In Test 1, Test 2, and Test 3 alone, Waterfall Network generated over 1000000 transactions and measured the speed at which they were added to blocks after being fully confirmed on the network. This is the first significant milestone for the Waterfall Network mainnet since its launch in July, which is 1000 TPS higher than the peak of 11667 TPS before the Waterfall Network testnet. The latest benchmark tests highlight Waterfall Network's outstanding scalability in EVM compatible and non EVM layer 1 (L1) and layer 2 (L2) networks. Of particular note is that Waterfall surpasses EVM compatible networks such as Monad and SEI, as well as non EVM networks such as Solana and Aptos, in TPS. Chainspec and other validated sources of data support this claim.

On November 1st of this year, Waterfall Network successfully completed integration with Chainsect, a leading independent blockchain analysis platform. According to Chainspec's data, Waterfall is considered the most scalable protocol based on EVM currently available.

At present, the main network of Waterfall Network is supported by 8232 validators, which is nearly four times the number during the testing phase, ensuring efficient and reliable transaction processing.

Tests conducted with support from the Google Cloud Web3 entrepreneurship program have shown that Waterfall Network's mainnet is the most decentralized network, capable of supporting over 1.5 million validators, surpassing any other proof of stake network, including Ethereum. Waterfall's testing covers home computers, laptops, and cloud servers provided by Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services, Digital Ocean, and Hetzner. In addition, Waterfall Network has also been accepted by Hyperledger Labs' renowned GitHub space, which provides opportunities for open-source blockchain projects to experiment, establish credibility, and engage with global expert communities to promote project growth and adoption. This opportunity has increased the project's visibility, gained peer support, and valuable feedback, thereby contributing to the overall improvement of the network.
